12 disabled young people had a wonderful week at a specialist sports camp ran by the South London Special League in the Riverfront Room at the Waterfront Leisure Centre from 10th-13th April 2012.

Sports on offer included boccia, table cricket, table tennis, skittles, new age curling and powerchair football.

The players were supported by experienced coaches so parents and carers knew they were in capable hands.

The camp was funded by NHS Greenwich.

Project leader Sharon Brokenshire said "the sports camp was a great success and we hope to gain the funding to make it a regular holiday session".
