GLL BACKS BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET SPORTING TALENT TO RIO AND BEYOND

Fifteen athletes from Bath & North East Somerset will benefit from a UK wide £1,200,000 fund – thanks to charitable social enterprise GLL. The athletes will be supported through the GLL Sport Foundation (GSF) the largest independent athlete talent programme in the UK, in partnership with SportsAid and Bath & North East Somerset Council.

Train to become a Lifeguard with Better

This February from the 15th to the 20th February we are running a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification at Bath Sports Centre. This is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the United Kingdom and Ireland and is also internationally recognised.

£1 million funding pot is set to support today's and tomorrow's athletes in Bath and North East Somerset

Applications are now open for talented young sports men and women from Bath and North East Somerset to apply for a share of a £1 million UK funding pot, out to help young sporting stars realise their dreams. Talented athletes have until 20th February 2016 to apply for financial awards of up to £1,250.
