Step 1: Getting Started

Your Health & Fitness journey at Better Gyms starts with a 1-2-1 Consultation with one of our expert fitness coaches who will help tailor a bespoke gym experience based on your specific needs.

Depending on your experience we can either include an expert orientation of our world class equipment to help you feel confident and ready to go, or for the more experienced members you have the option of fast tracking to get you straight into the action.

Step 2: Refocus Sessions

Joining a gym is a huge step for most of us. To help ensure you stick to your goals and keep moving forward successfully, we’ve designed the Refocus Sessions.

Every 4-6 weeks we will offer you the opportunity to re-evaluate your progress with your fitness expert. Assessing what's going well, what could be improved, plus your likes and dislikes will all be taken into account to reinvigorate your Better Gym experience.

Step 3: Complimentary Personal Training Consultation

As a Better member, you are entitled to a complimentary Personal Training consultation with one of our expert Personal Trainers at YOUR Personal Training. This is the next step in your membership journey and will help you really get to grips with your goals and understand how to achieve outstanding results throughout your gym experience.

Your complimentary Personal Training consultation will be designed by our Level 3 qualified Personal Trainers, and once an initial assessment of your goals are complete, you will receive one or more of the below as part of your appointment: 

  • Postural Analysis
  • Fitness Testing
  • Functional Movement Screening
  • Intensive Exercise Session
  • Current Program progression
  • Nutritional Advice
  • Exercise Frequency Planning
  • Exercise Goal Setting and Analysis
  • Lifestyle Advice

RESULT: We offer a range of highly motivational, fun and results-based group exercise sessions, designed to help you achieve your goals in a safe and socially engaging environment. Take part with your friends, family or training buddies!

GP Referral Scheme

We are passionate about breaking down barriers to physical activity. As such, we're part of joint partnership projects between NHS trusts and local Council authorities to tackle health inequalities.
