Swimathon is the world’s biggest fundraising swim in the UK and it is coming to West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre soon. The event runs from 7th – 9th  April this year and is fundraising in partnership with Marie Curie, who are the UK’s leading charity for people with terminal illness. All fundraising makes a huge difference to those who deeply rely upon the care, guidance and support of Marie Curie nurses.

Since the event began 30 years ago, Swimathon has been encouraging swimmers throughout the UK to swim a distance challenge. Since then, their mission of uniting swimmers through challenges and fundraising has prompted more than half a million swimmers to take part at their local pools, and so far over £46m has been raised to support charitable causes.  The event caters for all levels of fitness, ability and all ages, so everyone can join in!  You can choose to take on the Individual 1.5k, 2.5k or 5k challenges or you can join forces with colleagues, friends or family members for the Team 1.5k and 5k.
