Badminton & Table Tennis

Every weekday morning we set up badminton and table tennis courts for those aged 50+ to use, and we have enough rackets available for singles or doubles matches. All equipment is provided, but participants are of course, welcome to bring their own.

If you have a centre membership then the sessions are available at no extra cost. For those without a membership or who just want to try it out, sessions are bookable online via the Better UK app or by following the link below. Tennis

Every weekday morning we  set some of our tennis courts aside to allow our 50+ adults the chance to play casual indoor tennis, either singles or doubles. Rackets and balls are available to lend out, but participants are welcome to bring their own.

Fitness Classes

We have three fantastic fitness studios offering high quality classes every day of the week. We also provide a number of daytime classes that are perfect for our older adults, including 50+ Aerobics, Pilates, Yoga and Aerolatino.

Gym

Whether you are a first timer or regular user, the gym at Sutton Sports Village is the perfect place for older adults to work out and keep fit. You can choose from over 90 pieces of equpment, from cardio to functional to weights and resistance so there is plenty to keep you motivated. 

Our friendly fitness instructors are on hand to guide you through your workout and offer advice if required. We can even offer you a personalised fitness programme tailored your specific training goals, as well as refocus sessions where you can review your training with a highly qualfied and experienced instructor.

Walking Football

We run a highly successful walking football programme for those aged 50+. We offer two sessions per week and for those who are extra keen the Evergreens association occasionally arrange matches against other teams in the local area.

Membership

If you’re 66 and over and looking to get more active, our 'Better Health Senior' Membership allows you anytime access to all of our Evergreens sessions as well as the gym, sauna, all of our fitness classes and even the swimming pool at nearby Morden Leisure Centre, all at a competitive price. 

Alternatively if you are younger than 66 our 'Better Health Saver' Membership provides access to all of the above at the same price, but just limited to off peak hours* only. Note that all Evergreens sessions take place during off peak hours.

*Off peak times - Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.00pm, Saturday & Sunday 1.00pm-6.00pm.

Evergreens

The programme of older adult activities at the centre is led by the Sutton 'Evergreens' - a friendly community sports and social club run by its members for the over 50s.

Our Evergreens Club sessions at Sutton Sports Village enable those aged 50+ to keep active and stay healthy at affordable prices as well as socialise with like-minded people in the area. It’s well documented that keeping fit as you get older can extend life expectancy, but other benefits can include reducing the risk of heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes, depression and dementia, so why not come down and join in.

Sessions run Monday to Friday between 9am and 12pm (times may vary) and they range from tennis, badminton and table tennis to walking football, aerolatino, dominoes and much more.
