Drop In Sessions

Parent & Child Drop In Sessions (walking to 3 years, and 3-4 years)

Our ‘drop in’ style, pay as you go parent & gymnast sessions are run by  pre-school qualified British Gymnastics coaches for children under 5.  The little ones get the chance to learn basic gymnastic skills and get to grips with the different forms of equipment.

Places for these sessions are offered on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of 20 gymnasts per class. We ask you to arrive at least 5 minutes early to each session to ensure your place and shoes are not permitted while in the gym.

Classes are 45mins in duration and cost £6.70:

- Wednesday 10.00-10.45am - 3-4yrs

- Wednesday 11.00-11.45am - walking to 3yrs

- Wednesday 2.00-2.45pm - 3-4yrs

- Thursday 9.30-10.15am - walking to 3yrs

- Thursday 10.30-11.15am - walking to 3yrs

- Thursday 11.30am-12.15pm - 3-4yrs

- Friday 9.30-10.15am - 3-4yrs

- Friday 2.00-2.45pm - walking to 3yrs

Adult Drop In Sessions

We also offer drop in sessions for adults (aged 16+). Theses classes are 90 minutes long and cost £9.50.

- Thursday 8.00-9.30pm

Disability Drop In Session

Our SEN session is a tailored session specifically designed for those with disabilities. This class is 45mins long and costs £6.70:

- Wednesday 1.00-1.45pm

When creating your account to book drop in sessions for your child please ensure that you use the child's contact details (name, date of birth). As the classes are age restricted if the adult's age is used it will not allow the booking to be completed.

Ongoing Courses

Early Learners (3-5 years)

Our early learners use a variety of equipment - both soft play and full sized - to develop key motor and co-ordination skill. The structured classes are run by experienced, pre-school British Gymnastics-qualified coaches. At five years old the gymnasts will progress to Club classes.

Club Classes (5-13 years)

These recreational gymnastics classes are tailored to gymnasts moving up from our early learners programme or for complete beginners and depending on previous experience will take part in novice, intermediate or advanced classes.  Children will make full use of the gymnastics equipment and will be encouraged to develop their balance, strength and power to improve their physical development.

Teen Classes (13 years+)

This class is tailored to teenagers who want to improve on their gymnastics skills whilst learning brand new ones.

Squads (Invitation only on recommendation from the Club Coach)

These classes have been developed to challenge gymnasts from the club classes who have shown potential and a flair for gymnastics. Gymnasts will also have the opportunity to compete in the British Gymnastics London competitions.

Adult Classes (18 years+)

These classes cater for all levels from beginners to advanced. We offer structured classes for those who need a little bit of guidance and non-structured classes where gymnast are responsible for their own training but with British Gymnastics qualified coaches on hand to support, explain and guide.

Holiday Camps

Suitable for any level of gymnast, our Gymnastics sessions allow for extra training or a taster of what’s on offer at Sutton Gymnastics Academy. Coaches will be on hand to instruct stretches, warm-ups and top tips on how to improve their technique and use our competition standard equipment.

Gymnastics Hall Hire

Our gymnastics hall is a fantastic space with competition level apparatus and is available to hire on Sundays.  So if you are looking for a venue to hold an event, competition, class or club, why not pop in and see the facility for yourself?  Facilities include:

• Two 12 x 12 metre competition floor areas
• Pommel horse
• High bar
• Asymmetric bars
• Two high beams
• Competition table vault
• Wide variety of soft play and training equipment
• Sprung flooring
• Rings
• Sound system
