Our affordable weekly junior basketball sessions are an excellent way to keep your children active and healthy. It helps build co-ordination, concentration and social skills. These sessions are suitable for children aged between eight and fifteen.
This drop in session take place every Wednesday 17:30 – 18:30 and costs £4.50 per child.

Play your way! Whether you would like to book half a court to shoot some hoops or a full court for a match with friends, family or work colleagues.
Basketball involves a lot of starting and stopping. While not renowned as an aerobic sport, it is still a great workout that can help you:
- burn calories (an hour of basketball can burn 630–750 calories)
- build endurance
- improve balance and coordination
- develop concentration and self-discipline
- build up or tone muscle
Walking Basketball is a slowed down version of basketball, limiting players to walking rather than running. Run and concede a foul, Walking basketball is a great way to exercise and meet new people, both men and women participate in the session with varying abilities and everyone is made to feel welcome.
The slowed down pace and adapted rules make it more practical for people of any ability meaning everyone can take part.
These sessions take place Mondays 10:30 - 12:30pm.
Better Club members can participate for free, non-members and local residents pay £3.50 a session.
