Kensington & Chelsea excel at Better Club Games
A team from Kensington & Chelsea represented their borough when competing against 750 over 55-year-olds at the 2015 Better Club Games and Olympic-style event for older people that was held at the Copper Box Arena on Tuesday 17th November 2015.
Proudly representing their borough, the Kensington & Chelsea team sent across over 20 participants along with dozens of spectators.
A sense of fun, team spirit and enjoyment was had by all on the day.
Highlights include our short mat bowls team excelling and just missing out on a place in the grand final. The Walking Football Squad scoring some ‘wonder goals’ and the table tennis team flying through the rounds in the competition.

Sir Peter O'Sullevan CBE memorial service
St Lukes pitches hosted the memorial reception for Sir Peter O’Sullevan CBE after a service held in St Lukes Church on 27th October. Sir Peter, the esteemed 95 year old racing commentator passed away in October 2015, and his final wishes were granted.
New Hatha Yoga Class at Chelsea Sports Centre on Saturday afternoons
New Saturday Hatha Yoga class has arrived at Chelsea Sports Centre.
Hatha is made up of "ha" meaning Sun and "ta" meaning Moon representing the positive and negative energy flows in the body.
Hatha Yoga regulates and balances these energy flows.
New Gym Omnia Workout
Chelsea Sports Centre is excited to introduce the Omnia workout class where members can join a functional fitness workout on the Omnia station run by our passionate fitness instructors.
Omnia is a functional training system which optimizes strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination and speed. It is designed specifically for small group personal training (4-8 people), to provide the same individual attention as one-one-one training but also the community dynamic of training in a group setting.
