Our fully equipped, air-conditioned gym offers a range of fitness equipment for
everyone. Our members can choose from cardiovascular machines such as
treadmills and rowers, resistance equipment including free weights and dedicated
stretching areas and fitness aids such as Swiss balls.

For a fitness programme tailored to your needs, just ask a Better fitness instructor
and they'll be happy to put together a workout to suit you.

Before using the gym you'll need to complete an induction, so our fitness
instructors can check you are well enough to train. As well this gives you the
opportunity to get advice about other activities the centre may offer which could
help you achieve your fitness goals.

Re-focus sessions are available to you at any time, where our fitness instructors
will mix up your fitness programme. Did you know that keeping your workout more
varied and challenging will actually keep you much fitter?


Our purpose built gymnasium is home to a wide range of gymnastics disciplines and classes.  Here we provide sessions for General Gymnastics, Pre-School Gymnastics, Women’s Artistic Squads, Men’s Artistic Squads, Rhythmic Squads, Acro Squads, Tumbling Squads and Trampoline sessions, as well as parent and toddler sessions (Toddler’s World).  We also host schools and private bookings. 

Apparatus available to participants includes: full sized sprung floor; beams; training vault; vaulting table; A-bars, high bars; pommel horses, rings, foam pit, rope and a variety of training equipment. We also have two full sized trampolines as well as carpet and equipment specifically for our Rhythmic sessions.


We have one main studio , which is large and bright with mirrored walls and a sprung floor. Currently 16 fitness classes a week are available to book.



Sports Hall

The Sports Hall is a multi-sport arena featuring 5 badminton courts, 1 football
court, and 1 basketball court.

Climbing Wall

Climbing is fantastic fun and the perfect way to get an all-round workout. If you
have never climbed before, we can take you from your first step off the ground
through to climbing on real rock. We've a range of activities to suit everyone
regardless of your age or fitness.

To get started, try our Adult Beginners course, where an experienced instructor
will show you the ropes of this exciting sport.

Want to learn how to climb independently? Our Beginner's course teaches you all
the basic skills to use the ropes at any indoor climbing wall. We can take up to 6
adults on one course so you'll get to meet others starting out too.
