Activities and Clubs

There are a full range of activities you can do and clubs you can join here at Streatham Ice, listed below are some examples of these fantastic products.

Public Sessions

Our public sessions are suitable for all ages, young or old, big or small and whether you are a superstar in training or a beginner just setting out!

Skate hire is available for all sessions from child size 7 to an adult size 15.

For the smaller ones who may need extra support we have fun penguin skating aids that can be their companion on the ice and help them find their feet but pick up your penguin quickly as these fun little fellows are extremely popular and there can be a wait for one during peak sessions.

Remember you can book online to save time and avoid the queues during peak sessions, just click on the following link and it will take you directly to our online bookings page: Online Tickets

Please note parts of the ice may be sectioned off during public sessions.

Learn to skate

Whatever level you're at, from beginner to pro, our programme will get your skills to the next level

We have ice skating lessons suitable for all ages and all abilities. Our programme will see you develop through the levels starting from 1 through to 8 as set and nationally recoginsed by the National Ice Skating Association (NISA). The progressional steps to advanced dance and free skating bronze, silver and gold are also available.

You and your family can track your weekly progress through the course and see what you have been working on and how close you are getting to the next level.  Once you've passed a grade you will be awarded with a certificate (badges are also available to purchase at reception)

By completing grades 1-5 on our learn to skate programme you gain the experience and qualification to join other teams and try different activities on ice such as figure skating, speed skating and ice hockey.

Streatham Ice Dance Club

The Streatham Ice Dance Club is a friendly group of skaters that specialise in ice dance. Dance Club runs on Thursdays between 8.15-9.15pm. You must be 16+ to join the club and have a reasonable level of skating ability, for example, if you have taken part in learn to skate lessons and have attained Skate UK Level 8 or above.

In addition you should be able to do around four of five of the pattern dances to a reasonable standard. If you do not know the dances you could join one of the group lessons run at the rink, or maybe consider private coaching. The Club also runs a class to learn the first dances, with a new group starting once or twice a year. Please contact the Club if you would like to be informed when the next group is due to start.

For more information on the club please contact Streatham Ice Dance Club at

Streatham Figure Club

Streatham Ice Figure Skating Club caters for those who have completed the learn to skate courses and want to develop their free-skating skills including spins and jumps. Figure Club runs on a Friday night between 6.15-7.15pm. It exists alongside the rink's 'patch' sessions for individual development, but adds a group/club dimension. Spin/jump/spiral competitions are held periodically on club ice-time, plus occasional competitions of individual or group programmes.

For more information on the club please contact Streatham Ice Figure Skating Club
