Silver Sunday to be Celebrated in Greenwich


Silver Sunday will be celebrated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich with an exciting array of event, activities and workshops for older people.

APA Summer School Success


Academy Performing Arts held a successful dance workshop on Wednesday 20th August. The course was open to students aged 14+ giving them the opportunity to train with industry professionals for the day.

Classes were taught by master of his trade Mbulelo Ndabeni, former dancer of the Rambert Dance Company and Kristina & Sade Alleyne performers from the Akram Khan Company.


A Better Playscheme Re-launch


The Waterfront Leisure Centre has re-launched its Ofsted registered Playscheme with exciting new activities. Its the perfect place for children aged 5-11 years to try new sports, make new friends and have fun.

Following the £800,000 re-investment that took place in 2013, phase 2 of the refurbishment programme at the Waterfront Leisure Centre is in progress, and at its completion the centre will have:- A new training/meeting room, both studios refurbished, and a new Functional Fitness and Group Cycle room over looking the Thames.
