Following its refurbishment, Boston Library is extending its programme of events to increase its appeal to the local community. New events include;

  • Messy Mornings and Rhyme Time - Fun activities for under 5s and their families
  • Job Club – for help with using on-line job search websites, on-line applications and CV writing
  • Adult Colouring sessions - to help de stress and relax. Colouring sheets and pencils will be provided.
  • Brain Boosting Club - with Sudoku, crosswords, Scrabble and more to help exercise your grey matter.

The Library is also increasing the number of Beginner’s IT sessions it holds with Halifax Digital Champions running fortnightly sessions at the library.

All of this is on top of the library’s regular activities which include:

Shared Reading Group for those who enjoy reading of all kinds, the Sketchbook Swap Shop which gives local amateur artists a chance to compare and share skills and sketch books, weekly Beginners IT sessions and Storytime for under 5s.
