Putney Remembers the Men of the First World War: St Mary's Roll of Honour
Sue Rolfe presents an illustrated talk on the new book by Maggie Jones, Sue Rolfe, and Michael Bull. Listed on the Roll of Honour in St Mary’s Church, Putney are 340 men who died during the First World War. This book, based on an original blog by Maggie Jones, provides information about each of those who died, including, where possible, where they lived in Putney, their families, their regiment and battalion and their place of death and burial.

Author Kika Markham comes to Balham Library to talk about her book Our Time of Day: My Life with Corin Redgrave. Our Time of Day was inspired by Corin Redgrave’s revelation that after suffering brain damage he could remember little of his marriage – despite the fact that for over thirty happy, passionate and turbulent years he and wife Kika Markham had shared their love of acting, family and left-wing politics with ceaseless energy and commitment.
