The Summer Reading Challenge is a nationwide reading scheme for children aged 4 - 11 to take part in throughout the summer holidays. The children are challenged to read 6 books within 8 weeks from July 15th to September 10th and in return receive free rewards to celebrate their achievement. At the end of the programme they receive a medal and a certificate. The Summer Reading Challenge is supported by national charity The Reading Agency.
WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?
-Go to your local Wandsworth library and register for free on or after Saturday 15th July.
-Borrow a book! Anything you like.
-Follow the challenge to read six books in six weeks.
-Receive prizes for the books you read.
-All events/activities are fun and free!.
-Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
-Complete the challenge to be in with a chance to win fabulous prizes
This summer something strange is happening at the library and the Animal Agents are on the case. The Animal Agents love solving mysteries and they need YOU to help them crack their biggest case yet. Who has painted graffiti on the library wall?
Why are things suddenly going missing? Collect evidence; discover clues; and crack the case.
