The Council are now working in partnership with appointed contractor ISG to carry out the £8m refurbishment of your neighbourhood library and leisure centre.

Throughout the works Hulme High Street Library will remain open, however the leisure centre will close for the duration of the refurbishment works which will start on 9th October 2017 and is currently estimated to be completed in October 2018.

We will provide regular updates and progress reports on the development on this page for you.

Where possible services will be relocated and others redirected to alternative centres. All users will be informed and further information on alternative options and relocation of services is available on our Manchester web pages.
