The company has been invited to perform at the Thrive Youth Dance Showcase at Jacksons Lane Theatre on Saturday 25th June 2016. This will be a fantastic opportunity for the company and their debut performance.
The company will be performing Impetus choreographed by Artistic Director of B40 Julian David Lewis & company members. Impetus is the company’s first new work since Julian David Lewis took the role of Artistic Director. Taking inspiration from a painting, Yellow-Red-Blue by Wassily Kandinsky, the dancers have began to explore how abstract form, shapes and colour can trigger a variety of emotions, ideas and sensations. With each dancer’s own creative journey at the heart of the work, the performance promises to be dynamic, detailed and physical.
