Jeremy Corbyn came to Hackney Marshes on 27th May, played football with local children and showed his commitments to grassroots football.  The Labour Leader complimented the beauty of the pitches and the surrounding marshes area.

Following his visit, Mr Corbyn travelled to Wembley, where he watched his Arsenal lift the FA Cup trophy with a 2-1 win over Chelsea.

The facilities were later visited by local Labour representatives, with Hackney Major, Philip Glanville highlighting its importance for football in East London and wider.
