Cricket Themed Dance Bowls Over Crowds at Sportathon!

Academy Performing Arts teachers lead the schools through a high energy cricket themed dance routine in an amazing week of fun at Sportathon held at Sutcliffe Park Sports Centre.

Academy teaching staff taught a sport themed dance routine to over 400 7/8 years olds each day.

The dance programme was delivered by Joe and Karla who are leaders of the Academy Street Collective. Joe and Karla have appeared on TV talent shows such as Sky Ones 'Got to Dance' and BBC ones 'The Greatest Dancer'.

The week was a great success with everyone getting involved and having fun, including the school teachers!

We look forward to taking part next year.
