Bath Pavilion is hosting a charity Zumbathon for Children's Hospice South West on Saturday 14th August.

Children's Hospice South West provide care and support to families living in the South West, who have children with life-limiting conditions. They provide specialist palliative care, respite for the whole family, a sibling service for brothers and sisters, emergency support, end of life care and a bereavement serice for as long as is needed. The hospice supported Kate Parsons and her family through the heartbreaking loss of their son Max. We're calling upon the wonderful Zumba community to help raise money on behalf of Max, Kate, her family and everyone at Children's Hospice South West so they can continue doing all the amazing things they do for families across the region.

Entry to the event, which runs from 2:00pm - 4:00pm, cost £10 per adult (children go free) and you will recieve a t-shirt on arrival. If you are unable to make the event but would still like to make a donation, a Just Giving page has been set up for the event:

Popular Zumba instructor Jess Davies, who will be instructing on the day said "It's a huge honour to be asked to help organise this Zumbathon". The event follows successful previous Zumbathons at the venue. Most recently a two hour Glow Zumbathon took place at The Pavilion in 2019 with 155 dancers taking part, raising over £1,075 for Cancer Research UK.
