Better Gym Mere Green baked some treats for members as part of a fundraising cake and coffee morning for Cancer Research UK. February was cancer awareness month and World Cancer Day headed by Cancer Research Uk, Better Gym Mere Green and Better as a company are partnered with Cancer Research UK as supporting fundraisers and are always proud to host events to raise money for the charity.

Better’s partnership with the charity highlights the company’s pillars of community and people as the staff always go above and beyond to make great charity events to raise money for a cause that affects many people including the staff and the members. Events are held throughout the year and centres across the nation get involved to help the company raise as much money as possible to donate to the charity each year.

The partnership with Cancer Research UK started last year to have one charity the company can work with instead of individual centres raising money separately. Better Gym Mere Green has previously raised funds for other charities and with the community spirit within the gym between members and staff, the cake sales are always popular and a great opportunity to have a catch up with regular members and meet new members all whilst being for a good cause.
