Better Gym Mere Green support Sainsbury’s fundraiser!
Better Gym Mere Green are working to build strong connections in the community between businesses to promote and support the community it is part of. Friday 15th March was comic relief this year and the local Sainsbury’s store in Mere Green successfully organised a sponsored cycle ride to raise money for the charity. Sainsbury’s had asked Better Gym Mere Green to borrow an exercise bike to use in the store for the cycle ride which they held for the day.
Sainsbury’s challenged their staff to cycle for the day in the entrance to the store so customers could see what they were doing, the area was decorated with balloons, a sign to explain what they were doing and comic relief merchandise available all to raise money for a great cause.
Better Gym Mere Green provided the exercise bike the store used for the challenge which the store were very grateful for, the event was a big success and highlights the community of Mere Green coming together to achieve a great fundraising event.
