The Hive vs Cambridge Staff Football Match

The Hive is pleased to announce a very successful inter company Foot ball match. The match took place between GLL staff representing the centres across Cambridge and GLL staff here at The Hive.

The match was a very exciting and close affair with the final score ending in a 6-6 draw! The event was very successful and culminated in both sets of staff staying on afterwards for a social. Goals from The Hive staff included a hat trick from the General Manager Jason Parker and Matt Hill the Assistant Manager from Parkside Pools and Gym scoring two goals.

A rematch is being planned for the New Year to establish a clear winner with the goal to include more members of staff into teams and squads and increase participation.
