We are making some changes to our reception area starting on 14th March. We will be introducing a new concierge service where our front of house staff members will be available upon your arrival to answer any queries you may have and to assist where they can to make your visit seamless.

The most significant change will be the installation of access barriers which you will be required to swipe through at in order to gain entry, this adds an element of security to Hendon Leisure Centre to help protect both our staff and our customers. It will also recognise that you are here for your activity and will auto check you in, to ensure any charges you may have received due to non attendance errors will be reduced.

To help us with this,  prior to the 14th March can you:

  • Download the Better UK app and ensure it is linked to your BETTER account.
  • If you do not have the app, please collect a membership card from reception
  • Follow our social media for further updates

You do not need to do this at the moment if you are a lessons and courses customer.

In addition to this, we will be laying new flooring throughout reception, the  toilet areas and the stairwell to give the centre a fresh new look. The reception desk will be removed and you will be able to enter the lower gym through the door at reception, if you are here to use the weights area, this will save you a trip upstairs and you will have more energy for squats!

The work is expected to finish no later than the 22nd March. There will be a short period between 14th-17th March where you will not be able to enter via our main reception and you may need to enter via a fire exit. There will be signage directing you to the nearest entrance for your activity.
