SingCR0nise Community Choir began as a 4-week project in 2008 and in 2020 it continues to go from strength to strength, with around 50 members. The choir is led by Matt Spencer, who, with wife Emma, leads New Addington Salvation Army Community Church, known to many locals as the church that puts on the annual panto and runs The Vine foodbank, amongst other things. Having met in a variety of buildings over the past decade, SingCR0nise Community Choir now has a new home at New Addington Leisure Centre!

Rehearsals are held on Sunday afternoons from 4.30-5.30pm*. Adults and children in year 7 and above (accompanied by an adult) are welcome to join at any time. There’s no membership process and it’s all completely free of charge! SingCR0nise is an extremely friendly choir, made up of people from many different walks of life. It sings a variety of styles, from gospel to pop to songs from the shows. There’s no need to be able to read music or have any musical experience at all, just a desire to sing and have fun! Singing’s great exercise, it’s fantastic for physical and mental well-being, and belonging to a choir is a brilliant way to meet new people. Why not give it a try? You’ve got nothing to lose!

*Rehearsals are not held every week – dates up to summer 2020 are:

February 9th, March 8th, 15th & 29th, April 26th, May 3rd, 10th & 17th, June 28th, July 5th & 12th
