There are currently 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK  - a figure that will rise as people are living longer, often into their 90s. If you are affected by memory loss or know someone who is, you can reach out for support and information: the Alzheimer’s Society deals with every type of dementia – their helpline advisors can be contacted on 0300 222 1122 Monday to Wednesday 9am-8pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm. Together we will be United Against Dementia.
