Better leisure centres across Greenwich are joining sport and leisure facilities around the country in supporting National Fitness Day on 26th September.

Now in its eighth year, National Fitness Day is a ukactive initiative, aimed at inspiring people around the UK to take part in exercise, whilst raising awareness of the importance of leading healthier and more active lifestyles.

Better leisure centres around the UK are taking part, including The Waterfront Leisure Centre, The Greenwich Centre and the Eltham Centre with a host of free activities for all the family, including:

  • Power Pump, The Greenwich Centre (8pm-9pm)
  • Free guest pass and session from a Fitness Instructor, The Eltham Centre (all day)
  • Box Fit, Thamesmere Leisure Centre (8pm-9pm)
  • Fitness Circuits, Charlton Lido & Lifestyle Club (6pm-7pm)
  • Group Cycle, The Waterfront Leisure Centre (11am -12pm & 6pm-7pm)
