London Youth Games- How to represent Royal Borough of Greenwich

London Youth Games (LYG) is an annual sports competition between the 32 London boroughs and the Corporation of London in over 30 different sports and has run since 1977. The events take place at different sporting venues across London including sites that hosted the famous London 2012 Olympics.

How to get involved?

Firstly, you need to live in or go to school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and secondly be the in the right age range (listed in table and attachment). Then it’s a case of sending the interest form by email to Daniel.Bank@GLL.ORG and seeing if you are the required level. The quality required for each event does vary but if you do not gain selection this season we can direct to local training sessions or clubs who can help develop your performance.

It’s worth noting to compete in these competitions you can be a mix of young people who either live or go to school in Greenwich so it is not necessarily just one school or club which represents the borough, everyone should have a chance to compete.
