The Great British Tennis Weekend is an initiative set up by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), encouraging people of all ages and abilities to make use of the plethora of tennis facilities available across the UK – from children and adults looking to pick up a racket for the first time, to those looking to play at a competitive level.

Gunnersbury Park Sports HUB will open its courts throughout the day, with a host of activities to suit everyone – from taster sessions with coaches, to free access to courts, with equipment provided – and no experience required. Visitors will also be able to find out more on how to take up tennis on a more regular basis, beyond the day’s events.

Ben Moy, newly appointed Gunnersbury Tennis Manager, GLL said: "We are delighted to take part in the LTA's hugely successful Great British Tennis Weekend. These are a great opportunity for anyone to come along and pick up a racket and have a go at tennis for free.
