The core value of injury Clinic Recovery Camp, is to keep people active. As specialists in the field, we are passionate about recovery. We specialise in sporting injuries and understand what it is to be active, whether at a competitive level or leisurely. Our advanced knowledge and experience, enables us to help treat those with many other concerns such as low back pain and post operative concerns just to name a couple.

We then work with the client a to improve the quality and ability to perform everyday living tasks. With everyone who walks into the clinic, we look for the cause of the problem, so that we can treat the cause and not the symptoms. This enables us to get the most effective results.

This is achieved using thorough assessments and testing procedures which are then supported by specifically tailored rehab programs and treatment protocols.

Some of the modalities used are; Massage, Electrotherapy, Manual therapy, Cupping, Exercise prescription programs, Kinesiology taping, IASTM Fascial treatment and much more.

Injury recovery begins from the moment the injury occurs.

I have 3 key ways that you can promote healing after injury, they are;

1. RICE (Rest, Ice, Compression & elevate). Apply ice twice a day within the first 72hrs for 15 minutes and apply compression around the injured area.

2. Maintain a good range of motion. This means moving the joint within a pain free range and only as far as pain allows.

3. Self Massage. Ever noticed the first thing we do when we hurt ourselves is rub the sore area? That is our natural instinct and there are many benefits to massage such as waste removal and improving blood flow.
