The women only activities based at Hammersmith and Lillie Road Fitness Centres have grown in number in recent months, and are becoming well attended.

So far at Hammersmith there are two strength and conditioning classes designed to teach women how to use the strength equipment in the gym, for example using the squat rack, bench press and instruction on how to deadlift.

This is all about team work, and learning something new - helping the women to get strong and knowledgeable as a team.

These sessions are at 18:15 on a Wednesday, and 12:00 on a Satuday at Hammersmith, as well as 10:00 on a Tuesday at Lillie Road.

The most recent addition is a women only studio based class on a Wednesday morning, which has proven extremely popular.

We are very proud of the groups coming in and training so hard and having so much fun - but we always want to see more - so book on if you haven't had a chance to yet.
