Introducing Smart Tiles

We will now be using QR codes, which you may already be familiar with, and you can use your mobile phone with the Better UK app to quickly scan and enter your local Better centre. These QR codes are called Smart Tiles - and there will be plenty of information in centre about how to use these, but if you need help - just ask a member of staff who will be more than happy to assist.

When is this happening?

The new Smart Tiles are now in place, all you need to do is scan the Smart Tile which is linked to the Better UK app, which will give you access to get back in the gym or enjoy a fitness class.

What about my data?

As we move across to using Smart Tiles, you can rest assured that all customer biometric data (which means your photograph or facial image) will be inaccessible from 31st October and will shortly thereafter be permanently deleted.

Do I need to do anything?

All you need to do is ensure you have the Better UK app on your phone. If you don't have the app you can easily download it to your device.

What if i don't have phone data/signal? 

We offer Free Member Wifi in our branch for all our customers to access. If you have never connected to it before simply create and account and then you're good to go! This will ensure that you've always got enough signal to open the Better UK app on your phone and access the entry system. If you have any difficulty please speak to a member of staff so that they can assist you. 

The Better UK app will be your new best friend, enabing you to book online up to 7 days in advance - while you're on the go.
