Take a dip in the pool and feel refreshed whilst working out with a Water Workout. A typical water class would involve an invigorating workout that you would expect in a dry class, but because it’s in the water it allows you to exercise without excess pressure on the joints and creates more resistance giving you an even greater workout.

What this class is great for:
Exercising in the water is a great way to condition and relieve stress as you can really create a big splash when working out, injecting a fun element into working out. The best thing about working out in the water is that the temperature of the water helps stop you from getting too warm. There are tons of extra bonuses that you can only get when working out in the water including improvements in mobility, coordination and an improvement in core strength. Find a Water Workout that’s suitable for you at a local Better Leisure Centre where you could really splash away those calories.

Who can take part:
Water Workout is suitable for adults of all ages and open to all ability levels. You don’t even need to know how to swim as this class takes place within the shallow end of the pool. But it’s recommended that you know how to swim to take part.

Other facilities:
Changing and shower facilities are available for use before and after the class.
You are recommended to use lockers that are available for any belongings. Lockers generally take 20p or a £1.00 coin although we do not take any responsibility for the valuables left in them.
