Over the Easter weekend, Lambeth leisure centres offered customers no joining fees if they donated an Easter Egg. Over 30 Easter Eggs were collected by the following Better centres:
- Brixton Recreation Centre
- Clapham leisure Centre
- Flaxman Sports Centre
- Herne Hill Lifestyle Centre
- Streatham Ice and Leisure Centre
- West Norwood Health and Leisure Centre
All the Easter Eggs were donated to Lambeth Council to be delivered by their Home Service which visits families with children with severe learning disabilities.
Tracey Imms, Lambeth Council Children and Young People's Disability Register Coordinator, was extremely grateful for the donations, commenting "This is a great idea. We know of many children who wouldn't have received a chocolate egg this Easter and so thank you for providing so many Easter Eggs to give to these children".
