Help us carry the importance of learning to swim across the world, by increasing water confidence and life skills in your local communities.

STA’s International Learn to Swim Week is back with the aim to promote water safety and learning to swim, no matter age, location, or ability.

Better is supporting International Learn to Swim Week through the 1,000s of classes running each and every week, helping to promote swimming as an enjoyable activity and importance of learning to swim as a life skill.

With your help, we can encourage people of all ages and abilities to get in the pool and open the door to a wealth of water skills.

Although, 9 in 10 parents agree that swimming is a life skill, a third of UK children aged 10-16 are unable to swim and almost 75% of parents think their child is not confident in water. The main reasons (a huge 50%) they reported was down to a lack of time to teach them themselves and they don't like water or can't swim themselves.

Help ensure everyone is safe to be in and around water. Sign up to Swim School  today - classes are avaiable for all abilities and ages, including adults - or take your children swimming during one of our casual swimming sessions.
