Junior Gym

These supervised sessions are a brilliant starting point for any child wishing to get fit and active in a safe surrounding.


They are aimed at children aged 11-15 years and run 7 days a week so there's no excuse to miss a session.


Our sessions at West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre run:

Weekdays: 15:00-18:00

Weekends: 10:00-12:30




We require all users to complete an induction with a member of the fitness team, where your child will be shown how to use the gym equipment safely. From there, your child can attend any session they wish on a casual basis or they can take advantage of our junior health & fitness membership.

Adult and Junior sessions

Adult and Junior sessions are also available if you would like work out as a family these sessions are available at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 18:00

Weekends: 08:00 - 17:00

Better Swim School

At West Norwood Health & Leisure Centre we offer affordable lessons for everyone that wants to learn how to swim or wants to improve their own abilities.


We currently run the following levels for juniors (under 16s):

  • Swimbies (adult and child)
  • Foundation (non swimmers 4+)
  • Development (15m plus swim ability)
