Commenting on the initiative James Brackenborough Better partnership manager for Merton said:

“It’s been an incredibly turbulent and challenging time. National Fitness Day 2021 gives us a chance to reset for the future, showcasing how fitness and exercise can help contribute to the nation’s recovery.  We hope our free sessions will encourage those who perhaps aren’t used to playing sport or going to the gym, to give it a try and reap the physical, mental and social benefits that exercise and movement can offer.”
