Mental Health Awareness has never been more important.  With many people self isolating, or feeling worries or anxious – we all need to be mindful and reach out to others where we can. The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week is KINDNESS.

The Mental Health Foundation say that kindness helps to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing.   We know ourselves that we can feel good when we reach out to help someone and that when someone is kind to us, it creates a positive feeling. So, the act of kindness has a positive impact on everyone’s wellbeing.

Little things can make a big difference.  You could text or call a friend you haven’t spoken to for some time, volunteer with a local community group, make a donation to a food bank or help someone with a chore.

At Better, we’d love to hear from you.

During this challenging time, we've teamed up with Customer Pulse, so that we can hear from all customers across the leisure industry, which will help us to work collaboratively to make informed decisions on how best to move forward after lockdown. Let us know what you think - click here
