HEALTH AND FITNESS AT MOSS SIDE LEISURE CENTRE
We have an an amazing four gym spaces here at Moss Side Leisure Centre, all kitted out with the very best quality of equipment for you to get the most out of your workout.
All our Cardio machines have LED screens built in, perfect for interactive workouts, browsing the internet or listening to music. If you would like to know more about what you can do with our kit, book an induction with one of our fitness instructors on your next visit.
Our upper gym is our cardio and functional space, recently extended it hosts three rows of a variety of cardio machines including top of the range treadmills, stairclimbers, cross trainers and excercise bikes.
Along with dedicated stretching and functional zones with a range of functional equipment including battle ropes, kettlebells and corebags. We also have two fantastic skillmills!
The upper gym also hosts our group cycle zone, bringing a great atmosphere to the gym floor when classes are taking place.JOIN NOW
Our Lower Gym is accessed through the Upper Gym, or by an accessible door controlled by our friendly reception team. We have a full range of weight stacked machines which will hit all major muscle groups including the Leg Press, Pectoral and Abdominal machines.
We also have a selection of free weight dumbells with adjustable benches and a four station multi-tower. Our gym instructors are on hand keeping things clean, tidy and safe for you while you enjoy your workout and are always happy to answer any questions you may have.JOIN NOW
Our performance gym is located on the first floor and has a fantastic range of equipment including plate loaded machines, a smith machine, two squat racks, two deadlift platforms and a collection of dumbells ranging between 4kg and 50kg.
We also have a sled pull track, a zone dedicated to stretching and functional work and a boxing room at the rear of the gym complete with two punchbags and a TRX stationJOIN NOW
We also have a programmble gym located on the ground floor. This has been designed to cater for specific user groups and host indiviudal sessions.
This allows us to run sessions specifically for our junior gym members, female only sessions, classes targeted at older adults or disability groups and the option to hire out to school groups.
