Supporting Families in Need through Lockdown

Over February and March 2021 Staff at Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym have been working with local partners to put together 10,000 activity Packs for local children. 

GLL are supporting the scheme which was led by Newcastle City Council’s Active Health team and local partners, North East Youth and the NUFC foundation.

The aim was to make 10,000 packs that were then delivered to as many children as possible on Free School Meals or classed as at risk. The packs contained; Yo-Yo, colouring books and crayons, NUFC activity book, skipping rope, fitness challenge sheets, reading books, water bottles, ball, throw and catch velcro set, and a t-shirt. 

The team used Newcastle Trampoline Park and Gym as a base to put the packs together and some of our team supported by helping put the packs together.
