Meet Janis.

 

We’d like you to meet Janis, one of our newest members.

 

Janis came into our centre for the first time one month ago.

 

She felt that she needed to improve both her physical health and her mental health; she hoped that using the gym was the best route to that goal.

 

Janis was initially very nervous about coming into the centre, especially the gym, but knew she needed to take that first step and built up the courage to do so.

 

When she came in she was greeted immediately by the friendly faces of the staff and was given advice by our trained fitness instructors on what would be the best way to start her fitness journey.

 

Since coming in on that first day she hasn’t looked back.

 

She regularly visits the gym a few times a week. She now sees the same people each time and has got to know them, which makes all her visits more relaxing and enjoyable.

 

Janis still takes tips to help improve her fitness levels from the staff whilst she’s here and is already feeling the benefits of her hard work.

 

Janis recommends that anyone, no matter what stage they are at in their own fitness journey, should take up regular exercise to help improve their own health and fitness.

 

She says that our gym and staff are really friendly and approachable and that now she can see changes in her body it motivates her to keep going.

 

We feel that her positivity is contagious and hope that it encourages more people to that first step too.
