Netball is a sport that has been enjoyed by many for years. We are proud to offer netball to everyone of any ability, especially with our Walking Netball sessions. These are perfect for those who would like to enjoy the game and a calmer pace! Our sessions run:

Back to Netball : Every Wednesday 9.30am -10.30am

Walking Netball: Every Wednesday 11am - 12 noon

Each session is £3.20 per person and are held indoors.

Running across England since 2010, over 60,000 women have taken part in Back to Netball and realised the benefits of getting involved.  From losing weight, developing the body’s cardiovascular system and improving muscle tone, taking part in Back to Netball is great for you in so many ways. Back to Netball sessions provide women of all ages with a gentle re-introduction to the sport.  Run by passionate and enthusiastic coaches, sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting.  Sessions finish with a friendly game to put the skills you have learnt into practice.

You don’t need any special kit, just clothes that you feel comfortable exercising in and trainers ideally that lace up. Make sure you bring some water and that you’ve had a snack a couple of hours before hand, so you’ve got plenty of energy.

Walking netball provides players the opportunity to keep active whilst at a level that they are comfortable with. As walking netball is played at a slower pace, participants don’t need to worry about their fitness level too much. Sessions cover the basics of the game including passing, footwork and shooting and are fully supervised by a coach.
