WE ARE DOING ARE BIT TO HELP THE ENVIRONMENT

At the Windrush Leisure Centre, we have a commitment to protect the environment and continue to strive to be green.

In 2019 we have recycled 58% of all waste disposed at the Leisure Centre. This is 8% higher than our current target of 50%.

Due to the £165,000 spent on refurbishing the Air Handling Unit and installing a new Building Management System we have reduced our utility consumption massively year on year. After quarter 1 we had reduced our electricity consumption by 19% and gas by 11%!
