To mark 90 years since the Representation of the People (Equal   Franchise) Act became law, we are inviting you to celebrate this historic moment by throwing a tea party!

We will be joined by Professor Krista Cowmen, who will discuss “Where did our present equality come from?”

Professor Cowman is a leading Suffrage Historian and advisor to a number of productions including the 2015 film Suffragette and the BBC programme Suffragettes with Lucy Worsley.

The event will take place on Saturday the 30th of June between 1.00pm and 3.00pm
