Stories and crafts for pre-school children every Monday morning 10.30am - 11.00am
Enjoy books with your child and help develop their speech and language skills as well as bonding and spending time together. Our story times are relaxed and great fun, no need to book just come along. It’s a great way to enjoy reading books with your little one and you can also read and play with Jane and Gracie the Therapy Dog.
Help your little ones learn, with songs and rhymes for pre-school children every Thursday morning 10.00am - 10.30am
Rhymes help create an understanding of rhythm and the enjoyment of words and can help a child when learning to read. It’s a great place to make new friends for parents and carers too!
Every Thursday morning around 11.30am in the ConocoPhillips Room, in conjunction with Louth Children’s Centre Breastfeeding Group
Library staff drop in to sing lullabies and nursery rhymes to the babies before they learn to speak which promotes emotional wellbeing and is enjoyable for Mums and siblings.
TED- Talk, Eat and Drink
First and Second Monday of the month, 10.00am – 12.00 noon
T.E.D. friends, provide outreach and befriending to isolated individuals over 50, connecting them to groups, social networks and library resources.
Come down to Louth Library’s Pop Up Café to find out about fun ways to meet people. As part of the T.E.D. Network, you can also get support or training for FREE
Regular visitors are Angus and Gracie the Therapy Dogs with their respective owners Amanda and Jane.
Hooks & Books
First Tuesday of the month, 2.00pm – 4.00pm
A drop in friendly and self supporting Crochet Club. All crochet levels are welcome and there is support for beginners and advice for the advanced. Light refreshments are served and support offered from staff on resources relating to the craft
Book and Paper Folding Sessions every second Tuesday of the month 10.00am – 12.00noon
Develop your creative side and join our group of enthusiasts sharing their Book and Paper Folding Skills. This drop in session welcomes experienced folders and beginners.
Brain Teaser Sessions
Monday afternoons 2.00am – 4.30pm.
Drop in and keep your grey matter in good shape with Sudoku, crosswords, Scrabble and more. Sessions are free, we provide the materials, so join us and train your brain and meet like minded people!
Colouring for Adults, Fridays 2.00pm - 4.30pm
Colouring for adults is an easy way to calm the mind and occupy the hands as well as being extremely therapeutic and effective at reducing stress. We provide all the materials at our drop in sessions including the pencils and colouring sheets, so if you need a little ‘time to yourself’’ come along to Louth Library on a Friday afternoon because colouring isn’t just for kids!”

East Lindsey Advice Project
Drop in sessions every Wednesdays 1.00pm – 4.00pm
East Lindsey Advice Project is a grant funded, free to access community advice scheme, for all residents of East Lindsey. They hold weekly surgeries at Louth Library offering free advice and support on a range of subjects including: Benefits, Consumer Advice,Debt Solutions, Employment Advice and Referrals, Family Matters, Housing and Homelessness, Income Maximisation,Immigration Advice and Referrals, Powers of Attorney and Wills
MacMillan Drop in Sessions

Family History Advice Sessions

Delve into your past with free access to Ancestry, Find My Past, Lincs to the Past and our Local History Resources. Our friendly staff will point you in the right direction to start your own journey into who you are. Bookable sessions available so please ask a member of staff
