From the 6th April Sleaford Library will be having a display of pegdolls. These have been kindly loaned to us by the Sleaford Museum.  They are having a much bigger display showcasing the work of Joan Fairgrieve, a local lady who made them in the 1970s spending many hours dedicated to needlcraft.

The pegdolls on display at Sleaford Library will show many countries national dress and also 'The Wombles' recreated as peg dolls.

We are running two childrens sessions where children can have some fun and make their own peg dolls. These session will be from 2.00pm-3.30pm on Monday 8th April and Friday 12th April.  They are for children aged 5-11. We will provide a simpler activity for any younger siblings to make with a parent or guardian.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited. Speak to library staff to book your child a place.
