Chinese New Year
2019 is the year of the Pig. Celebrate Chinese New Year in the Children’s Library with a special story time in Chinese and English followed by a Craft session. 2:30-3:00pm Special story time for Chinese New Year led by Yuee Chen and Heather Shepherd. Find out about the traditions of China and Chinese New Year. Listen to a traditional story from China told in Chinese and English and learn a New year Song.
3:00-4:00pm Craft and colouring. Stay after the story for a craft session to make a traditional lucky money envelope to take home. Free, drop in session for all ages.
