Free Open Day for Adults Aged 50+

On Sunday 22nd June 2014, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre is inviting men and women to a free adult Open Day to participate in an array of activities from 12-3pm.

The leisure centre has organised the event to support local people and to encourage older adults to take up exericse. It is incredibly important to be active, particularly as you get older. If you are physically inactive your chances of accidentally falling increase dramatically as do your chances of developing chronic diseases and simple everyday tasks can gradually become a little trickier. Taking part in regular exercise can help to minimise the risk of these age related problems.
