England Netball held their first Netball Festival in partnership with Ferndale Community Sport Centre on Friday 22nd July on what looked like to be a stormy evening. Six teams battled it out on the courts with four of the teams made up of participants from "Back to Netball" session in Lambeth playing competitive netball for their first time.

The six teams played  a round robin, playing five games, each lasting twelve minutes. All of the teams played exceptionally well and also generated lots of supporters cheering the teams on. The level of play was very even so matches were very close.

Streatham team 1 and team 2 took first and second places with Killer Queens (Clapham Back to Netball) taking third place.

Back to Netball sessions run every Monday at ferndale from 5:45pm - 6:30pm and cost £2.00 a session. The session is taken by a qualified England Netball coach.
