Prize Draw Period

The prize draw commences at 12:01am on 05/08/2024 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 30/08/2024.  After the closing date no further entries to the prize draw will be permitted.

Eligible Entrants

Entry is only open to UK residents Only open to entrants aged 18 years or over.

Entry Mechanic

To enter the prize draw, Eligible Entrants must, during the prize draw

Period: Take a video or photo of yourself/family/friends participating in an activity, class or lesson at our facilities. Tag @Better_UK on Instagram using the hashtag #MoreWaystoPlay. Fill out the submission form.

Entry Limit

Only one entry will be accepted per person.

Draw

All entries received by the Promoter during the prize draw Period will be entered into the draw. The draw to determine the winner will take place by

• Week 1: 17:30 on 13/8/24
• Week 2: 17:30 on 20/8/24
• Week 3: 17:30 on 27/8/24
• Week 4: 17:30 on 3/8/24

The winner will be picked at random using a raffle winner generator. File to be kept on file to be able to provide evidence if needed.

Unclaimed Prize Draw

In the event of any unclaimed prize(s), the Promoter will hold an unclaimed prize draw 24 hours after the original announcement date and time in order to  award the prize if unclaimed by that date.

Notification

Winners will be notified weekly by email. Entrants are responsible for having ongoing access to the relevant inbox.  GLL’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Publication

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. The first name of the winners in the Draw will be published on the Promoter’s social media by

• Week 1: 17:30 on 14/8/24
• Week 2: 17:30 on 21/8/24
• Week 3: 17:30 on 28/8/24
• Week 4: 17:30 on 4/8/24

Use Of Data

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

Prize(s)

The first eligible entry randomly drawn in the Draw from all entries  received during the prize draw Period will win

• Week 1: £20 credit towards any activity at Better facilities.
• Week 2: £30 credit towards any activity at Better facilities.
• Week 3: £40 credit towards any activity at Better facilities.
• Week 4: £50 Love2Shop voucher plus a 1-month free Better Health UK Plus Spa membership.

Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Prize Distribution

The Prizes will be provided to each winner within fourteen (14) days of the relevant Draw date via a nominated email detailing the particulars for prize redemption.

Total Maximum Prize Value

Total maximum value of all Prize(s) awarded in theprize draw is up to £209.  No cash alternative is available.

Right To Amend or Cancel

GLL shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. GLL also reserves the right to cancel the prize draw if circumstances arise outside of its control. GLL reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.

The offer is no setup fee if you join Lee Valley VeloPark and Copper Box prepaid membership at Lee Valley VeloPark or Copper Box and Lee Valley VeloPark prepaid membership at Copper Box Arena. Offer ends on 31/07/2024 and is open to 16+ only. The membership entitles the user to access gym facilities and fitness classes at Lee Valley VeloPark and Copper Box Arena. Outdoor training area, road cycling circuit and road running sessions are available at Lee Valley VeloPark only. Better reserves the right to withdraw the offer at anytime.

Offer is £1 Swim for All session before 10am for under 16s. Offer available every day during school holidays; and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) only during term time. Session availability subject to programming and capacity limits. Available at participating GLL operated swimming pools in England and Northern Ireland. Offer not available at outdoor lidos or swimming pools in Cardiff, Barnet, Manchester and Waltham Forest. Under 8’s and non swimmers 11-17 must be accompanied by a competent adult swimmer. Offer is 50% off the initial upfront payment for lessons and courses at Manchester Leisure Centres only.

The offer is valid until Saturday 31st August 2024 inclusive. In order to claim the offer, promotional code MCRSPORT must be applied at the checkout at https://www.better.org.uk/lessons.

Promotional code applies specifically to the advertised locations and activities and is non-transferable. Promotional code does not apply to any ongoing payments. Promotional code has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Promotional code can only be used once and cannot be used with any other offers or vouchers. 

Better will not accept any claims where a promotional code has not been correctly applied at the checkout. Better reserves the right to withdraw promotional code at any time.

If the value of the basket price is less than the value of the promotional code, the discount applied will be that of the upfront basket price only.

Annual Memberships

All our annual memberships are priced at 12 months for the price of 10, giving you 2 months for free. This means the membership price is calculated at 10x the cost of direct debit of the monthly equivalent of the same membership type.  The price displayed at the point of joining is already discounted but may be subject to an additional set up fee. 

Better Health UK

The following activities and centres are excluded from Better Health UK membership

• Spa Experience facilities
• Tennis Court Bookings at any of our centres or facilities
• Racquet sports at any centres in Islington and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
• Leisure centres and facilities located in Camden

Student UK Membership 

The following activities and centres are excluded from Better Student UK membership

Swim UK Membership

Swim Doctor and other activities are available at an additional discounted charge. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer without prior notice. Use of Open Water Swimming Sessions at West Reservoir will incur a £5.00 charge unless this is your home club and is subject to completion of an Open water swim test and induction.
