Sam, Peter and Callum have signed up to complete an impressive 3,000 push ups each this November. They have taken up this challenge to show support and hopefully raise lots of money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Teenage Cancer Trust is an amazing charity that offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. The trust fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the dreaded words “you have cancer”, but with your support young people will feel as though they have someone in their corner right from the beginning. The charities’ nurses and youth workers walk with young people from diagnosis through every step of their treatment, and for up to two years afterwards, so that they can recover and live life to the full.

Our aim is to raise a minimum of £150 by the end of the month but with your help we would love to smash that target! The team have been working incredibly hard and at the time of writing Peter has completed 1,300 push ups, Sam has completed 1,430 push ups and Callum has completed 1,280 push ups.

You can follow the team every step of the way by following the Abbey Leisure Complex social media accounts. We will have daily updates on the guy’s progress.
